The library also contains the following collections:
The audiovisual collections are located on the first floor of the library and contains Playaway Digital Audio Books, audio books on CD, and DVD’s. This is a very popular area of the library, as the majority of these items circulate heavily among our patrons.
Large Print Collection
Located on the second floor of the library, this section contains books published in a large-type format that are easy to read. Classic fiction novels, non-fiction titles and “bestsellers” may all be found in this section of the library.
Local History Department
This collection contains a large amount of both Genealogy and Local History materials, including books, microfilm, CD’s, and vertical file information. Although these items do not circulate, patrons may make photocopies of the information. Limited research assistance in this collection is available in the library or from private citizens in the community. Please contact Evangeline Cessna, firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
This section is located by the Reference Desk, and includes books packed with short, information entries, such as encyclopedias and biographies. Although these items may not be checked out, patrons are free to make photocopies of the information in these books. A children’s reference collection is also available on the first floor in the children’s department.
